I’ve read some news back in 2009 when OneHourTranslation.com tried to emerge as our rival in the translation industry that they have developed a cool translation tool for tweeter users: Twitrans. This marketing gimmick has helped them to land some serious PR coverage from titans such as Forbes, CNN and TechCrunch. But in reality, this tool seemed flawed and didn’t really offer any value. In fact, I found it rather hard to use and never really had to use it. Neither other people did it.
So, after checking their twitter account at: https://twitter.com/@twitrans I see that their last tweet was posted on September 28, 2010. That’s the day it died. Their main webpage: http://twitrans.onehourtranslation.com/ appears to be dead too.
Rest in peace, web junk!
